Bouras Galleries
In the spirit of promoting local talent, Bouras Properties provides significant space for the presentation of original artwork. Local artists display their work in the main corridors for approximately 2 months. The artwork ranges from watercolors, photography, oil colors and more.
Visits to Bouras Galleries are available by appointment. Purchasing of artwork is possible with a portion of procees donated to Overlook Hospital.
Bouras Properties is currently featuring the original artwork of Lisa Brown and Sister Kathy Cairone.
Lisa Brown is a teacher and facilitator as well as a fine artist and created "art-as-therapy" programs which are geared to those suffering adversity or pain and working through rough life situations. Sister Kathy Cairone is a pupil of Lisa Brown's and has learned to paint with the brush in her mouth.
The exhibit is from September 1 to October 31, 2010.
