About The Building

The "Bouras Building" (formerly the Kemper Building) is a completely renovated, three-story class "A+" office building located in the heart of downtown Summit, Union County, NJ. Beyond its outstanding location within the heart of the city, the facility has been well maintained and offers on-site parking. Overall it has an outstanding presence in the community.

Constructed in 1958, the building contains over 135,000 square feet. Route 24, route 78, and Mid-Town Direct rail service are a few blocks away offering convenient access to New York City, Newark Airport and nearby Morristown Airport for private corporate aircraft. These linkages will further enhance the appeal for a variety of tenants.  In 2007, Bouras Properties installed an auxiliary generator on site, which has the capability of providing continuous emergency power to the entire building in case of an utility black out where there is no electricity provided to the building.

The building was purchased in November 1999 by Mr. Nicholas J. Bouras as a private investment.  Mr. Bouras continues to be an owner tenant with his office in Bouras Properties.
